Recommended by contrasttx: I love this place. The atmosphere is awesome, funky. This is the place I would bring friends from out of town. The service is great and the regulars are super interesting. Oh yeah, and the coffee awesome. (June 2nd 2008)
Comment by dw82: i don't know about the "best coffee shop in Austin." no wayyy. Maybe it's hit or miss, but when I went there to grab a bite to eat for lunch a few weeks ago the cashier was very unfriendly (made me feel uncomfortable) and almost all the foods were out of stock...not sure what the deal is. Definitely good people watching environment. Kinda your bohemian scene I guess you could say. Also i think it's funny that Epoch regulars post a lot on craigslist "missed conections"... more so than any other location in austin I've seen..craziness. I'll have to give it another chance at some point... (May 7th 2007)
Not Recommended by justincave: Perhaps a nice place if your a regular there and new to Austin, however I found the palce to have enough attitude for all of Dallas, and there were no prices on the menu, fine if daddy is paying your credit card bill, but I work for my living and like to know how much something I'm ordering cost.
