Not Recommended by gringo: I had a long relationship with Flamingo (approx. 7 years). 2 years ago, the water pump went out and was replaced by Flamingo mechanics at the cost of approx. $300.00. LESS than 1 year later (more like 7 months after initial replacement), the replaced pump failed (bearing) and once again, Flamingo replaced it and once again Flamingo charged me $300.00. Joe (owner of Flamingo) does NOT stand by his work. Period. If Joe were a businessman, he would not have charged me full price for replacing an initially defective part. Again, Joe does not stand by his work. Because of that, Flamingo automotive will never again earn another penny from me (and I'd estimate I've spent close to $5k there, over the years, in repairs to my 4-Runner and Landcruiser...not to mention the people I've actually recommended Flamingo to. That's a closed chapter. I hope anyone reading this takes this into account before making the same mistake as I. (October 16th 2006)

Recommended by muckrakey: I had Flamingo Automotive do a 90k service on my Toyota truck(timing belt,water pump,front seals and fluid services).I was completly satisfied with the work and will continue to have all my vehicles serviced there. (July 28th 2006)
