Recommended by pooky: Get Frasier Fir Christmas trees here that really last! They are cut from North Carolina, but The Great Outdoors keeps them in water, so they are very fresh. They also cut the bottom inch and extra limbs off the bottom for me right after I picked my favorite, so it was really easy to just bring it home and put it in the stand. Actually, if you bring your stand, they'll attach that too! It was $47 for a 5.5 foot tree. (December 10th 2007)

Recommended by pooky: Whoo! This place is huge! They have a lot of cool plants, but they're all spread out, so be ready to spend about an hour looking at everything. There's also a bargain area in the back with some pretty good deals if you don't mind babying a plant. They also have a nice selection of pottery and windsocks and such. (October 12th 2006)
