The food is moderately good. For the price you pay for it (at minimum $5.95 a dish), it's hardly worth the price. As for the service, it's pretty bad. They will follow you out of the restaurant and ask you why you did not tip or why you did not tip enough. It's bad business etiquette. (April 16th 2005)

Me and My friends also have similar experience on being chased out of the restaurant and told to pay more tips! The food is good, but service is terrible, especially one of the older waitresses (boss's wife?) was very rude and has horrible attitude. (May 10th 2004)

Madam Mam's Is the best Thai food I have tasted in austin. Since it opened I have been there many many times and enjoy the rich flavors in their food. While most other thai places in town are good I find Madam Mam's and Bankock Quisine to be the best (January 16th 2004)
