The pizza is ordinary and overpriced. The salads are sub-par and highly overpriced. The staff is grouchy. The only thing this place has going for it is its West Lake location and the fact that it has the word "Gourmet" in its name, which serves to fool first-time visitors into thinking they'll be getting something better than a low-end chain. The pizzas and the sandwiches are both fabulous here! It is always a tough call when I eat at Marye's. I have tried just about everything once and it is all good. They even specialize in fresh partially baked pizzas for you to take home and finish in the oven for a quick meal. Sure beats frozen grocery store pizzas. I definitely recommend this place!
