Not Recommended by jqpublic: Do not go here. They charge just as much as a dealer, 70/hr versus 80/hr. woa! saving! plus the service dept. is lazy and actually ruined my bike. after a long argument with the lazt service manager, they refuse to work on it again. these guys are LAZY. un-caring. and not good to do buisness with. AVOID THIS PLACE at all costs. (July 16th 2008)
Recommended by gringo: I had a piece of wire protruding from the rear tire of my motorcycle and was dreading having to take it all the way down to the Yamaha stealer (south Austin...I live central). I remembered TJ's, and gave them a call. Their shop is less than 5 minutes from where I live so I drove it over and they fixed it and had me back on the road in no time.
While I was waiting, I inquired about servicing Yamaha bikes, and as they're an authorized Yammie repair shop, I scheduled the first service with them (again, instead of taking it way down south to the stealer). TJ's performed the required service, while I waited, for less than HALF of what the stealer charges. And the stealer wanted me to leave my bike for 2 days for this service.
I highly recommend TJ's for all of your mc/atv repair needs. They're prompt, affordable, and courteous. (October 16th 2006)
