We have been loyal customers since Yaghi's first opened, ordering once a week. We always order a pizza, a small salad and 2 cokes. Last night we ordered "the usual". The kids who answer the phone always sound a little bored and unfriendly and ordering always takes much longer than it would at any other food delivery place. But, the food is usually worth the wait and irritation. When we handed the delivery boy our cash, he handed us the sack containing our 2 cokes and salad. He never said a word during the exchange, but this is very typical for the staff so we thought nothing of it. Then, we noticed coke dripping out of our sack and onto our porch. We also notice the salad was soaked in coke. The two coke cans looked like they had been kicked across the concrete. We got the boy's attention, who was getting into his car. He obviously knew what was coming and immediately said "I can go see if I can get you store credit." My husband said "We would rather have our salad and 2 cokes that we paid for. Will you return to the store and bring it to us?" The boy just got in his car and drove away. We called the manager to demand that we either get our money returned or the food we paid for. She never apologized or asked for our side of the story. Instead, she said she would not deliver such a small order and that we could come up to the store and get our money back. We were appalled! So we have to drive to the store to fix your mistake? What kind of manager says this? The boy lied, told her that we dropped the food and she believed him! What about "The customer is always right"? The kid ruined our food before giving it to us and tried to pass the blame on us! I asked the manager her name so I could report her to a higher up, but she said she was not allowed to give out her name. In the end, we never got our money back or our food and Yaghi's has lost a very loyal customer. We will be telling everyone we know not to order from here. (October 31st 2006)

This is the best pizza I have found in Austin! I'm from up north and I can't say enough good things about Yaghi's pizza. I'd just about given up on good pizza here when I stumbled across their store. Just wonderful! I haven't had a bad time with the service like some of the other reviewers, though I wouldn't call it exceptional - just typical fast food service... Prices are great and specials are plentiful. If you pick up a specialty pizza (the lasagna pizza and gyro pizza are both great), you get a medium cheese for free! Highly recommended for taste and value! (February 15th 2006)

It's no Saccone's, but I can almost walk to the William Cannon store. They must still have the same losers working the phones and the front, since they were next to useless, and looked like they'd been sniffing propane all day. Very good pizza, but I give the nod to Saccone's because they aren't as skimpy on the toppings. A- for a foldable crust. (January 16th 2006)

My wife and I stumbled upon this place last Saturday. This is the best New York style pizza I have had in a long time. This is coming from a pizza freak. I could eat pizza every meal. I have traveled all over the world, and I would definitely recommend this to anyone. We live in San Antonio, and I am having a hard time finding pizza this good. I wish they would open one up over here. (October 3rd 2005)

The pizza was great. Unfortunately, the lady who anwers the phone needs a personality. (September 5th 2005)

Great NY style pizza. Not very many places to get real NY pizza in Austin. This beats all places in South Austin for pizza. (July 15th 2005)

they have a new store on wm cannon off of mopac south. when they first opened i asked for delivery. after an hour i called asking where it was. the owner/manager apologized and sent out new order, but i was disappointed he didnt comp for the 2 hours I spent waiting. the pizza was very good, although my new jersey mom says the crust isnt thin enough. The lunch special is GREAT! (July 4th 2005)
